What is ECHO OBN?

Managing patients after bariatric surgery can be complex. Project ECHO Ontario Bariatric Network (OBN) is a virtual training and capacity building medical education program that supports community based primary care providers and allied health professionals across Ontario in delivering high quality, evidence-based obesity management care in their local communities.

Each virtual educational session connects program participants with a multi-disciplinary team of specialists from one of Ontario’s Bariatric Centres of Excellence (BCoE). Through didactic presentations and case-based discussion, participants have the opportunity to advance learning in obesity management and enhance clinical skills.

ECHO OBN is fully funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and is offered at no cost to participants.
